Flavor Profile

This seltzer reminded me that I should drink more vodka cranberries. Honestly, this is like a vodka cranberry but even better cuz it’s lighter and fizzier. If you’re like me and turned off by things that are cloyingly sweet, you’ll be inclined to pick this flavor up, and you probably won’t be disappointed. I certainly was not.

Cranberry can often be bitter and strong, but this flavor balances the sweetness and tartness. It has also found a perfect strength; enough to be recognizable as cranberry, but light enough to be really drinkable. No word on if this flavor has the health benefits of a glass of cranberry juice, but you certainly feel a bit healthier drinking this over, say, a cherry hard seltz.

Drinkability

4.5% ABV is a great place to be for something you can drink all day long. The flavor also lends itself to ideal drinkability. While there are 90 calories for the 4.5% ABV, we can at least say that Bon & Viv has nailed their flavors… with no sugar added, to boot.

Price

BON & VIV is part of the Anheuser-Busch family though it’s not currently listed as one of their products on the AB webpage. It’s available in a variety pack or solo.

Recommendations

This one is great alone, and would be great mixed with literally anything. You know how Ocean Spray always has tons of mixed fruit/cranberry juices? That. Except hard seltzer. I also think it would hold up well with ice added to it.

Hate the branding, heart the seltzers

I don’t really like Bon & Viv’s branding. But, I cannot deny that they make a great product.
